Tricky Northern Halloween

In the morning, the sun rose to show a sparkling scene. The red-orange glow of the street lights on the snow made it look like the winter holidays came early.
By midday the rain fell like spring’s heavy sheets. It swished the snow into squishy slush and rinsed the gloop down the grates.
The afternoon breeze broke up the clouds, giving the impression of searing summer sun.
But now as dusk arrives, the festive lights turn frightening.
The cleared street seems sinister without a soul in sight.
The wind whispers chills as the gloom descends with the sun.
Fall played tricks all day, but Halloween night is a spooky treat.
Great job! Best wishes!

And I hear dressing for Halloween in the north is just as tricky! Good luck!
